Pretty sure it would have been considered less dumb to go out and try to gather some actual sea foam off the beach. Wow...
On the other hand, I can't imagine any guy SO damn dumb that he'd think to do this. In fact, I refuse to believe a guy is that dumb. I'll bet this was done on purpose with a turd car/engine that was gonna be junked anyways, and they were just curious to see the results with expanding foam.

That actually sounds like fun. If something is so gone that there's no point in bringing it back (I'm thinking the video of the engine with a hole in the block that was still running), then let's see what we can do in the name of SCIENCE!
